| Working
With Parents |
|
|
Parents
have helped us to provide a service that they want to have
through ideas and consultations at our parent committee
meetings. These are always well attended and have had topics
such as "moving towards accreditation", "garden
restyling", "curriculum planning" and most
recently "future plans for the nursery."
For those who cannot attend parent committee meetings, ideas
are sought through questionnaires and comments. We also
have gardening days where parents have assisted in building
sensory areas and vegetable patches for children's use.
We hold both Spring and Autumn parents' evenings where parents
come together and discuss their child's development and
progression not forgetting our fun sports day.
We produce play plans which parents are encouraged to complete
the form with their child's key workers. This is updated
every couple of months in conjunction with the parents /carers
taking account of the children's interest as well and evaluating
the next steps for the child.
Our reputation as one of the best day care nurseries is
one of pride to have been able to attend the setting and
this shines through in staff pride and appreciation that
the setting has had such an influential effect on the local
community. |

and Mrs Newby |
| "As
parents it is a difficult choice to leave your children
in the care of other people, our decision was made easier
when we visited Future Einsteins and saw the wonderful things
you were achieving with the children there. We were reassured
by the fun and enjoyment the other babies and children were
having and the obvious professionalism and care the staff
showed for the children." |

teacher at school commented how children who have been to
future Einsteins are more developed socially and educationally
than other children and they can see a noticeable difference.
I felt proud that both of my children attended this nursery."
